8 Months-Old in April

Back in April, we took Mollie to the Botanic Gardens for the first time. I was so happy to finally be taking photos of my own child there! Not that I haven't loved taking photos of all sorts of cute kids there, but it was so special to be able to plop Mollie in some of my favorite spots.

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful morning on Mother's Day- homemade waffles, a nice time at church, and an impromptu visit with my brother Matt. The best part was spending time with David and my baby girl. I feel so blessed that I got to not only experience being a mother on Mother's Day, but I got to experience being a mother on Mother's Day to a baby that I carried for 9 months. 2 years ago, I didn't think I would ever experience either. A year and a half ago, I didn't think I'd ever experience being a mother to a baby that was half me and half David.
